HPC – Technologies and Models for Smart Cities and the Digital Society

National Centre for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing (HPC) is a foundation that brings together, coordinates and amplifies the work of 51 public and private organisations, leaders in scientific research and sustainable innovative systems. This partnership falls within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which the Italian Government has prepared as part of the Next Generation EU program.

Our involvement is concerned with  using computer vision, intelligent sensors, and artificial intelligence.
This falls in Work Package 3 of Spoke 09.

Spoke 09 ‘Digital Society & Smart Cities’ aims to achieve three key goals: conduct research on foundational, methodological, and technological aspects relevant to its challenges; identify application domains within smart cities and digital societies; and experiment and evaluate results with beneficiary partners. It focuses on five application domains, including health, mobility, socio-economic analysis, infrastructure and services, and the environment:

SPOKE 9 – DIGITAL SOCIETY & SMART CITIES

The Work Package 3.3 team is in charge of designing and implementing predictive analytics models for Smart Cities.
